Iroshizuku Ink
The name Iroshizuku is a combination of the Japanese words Iro (Coloring), expressing high standards and variation of colors, and Shizuku (Droplet), that embodies the very image of dripping water. Each ink name derives from the expressions of beautiful Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue.
chiku-rin Bamboo Forest(Yellow Green)
The backdrop of a bamboo forest is one of the most iconic of Japanese nature. This green calls to mind the inviting touch of the wind flowing through the stalks of a bamboo forest.

Beautiful true yellow green colour leaning stronger towards light green. True to the name Bamboo Forest. A real feel good colour that may be a little shy out of a Medium Nib Fountain Pen. But awesome colour when doing washes with the ink. Colour swatch appears a little darker on my screen, than the true colour on paper.

The previous review description of the colour is quite apt. It is a striking colour. It writes and flows well from the pen on quality paper, but in my experience, it feathers on standard or poor quality paper. This is unfortunate, because I would otherwise have chosen it a regular ink.

It lives up to the name Bamboo Forest – great restful colour.
