The Leonardo crowd got heir ink right in addition to their pens. This one is a vey dark black. It writes wet and smooth. This is one of the darkest black inks in my collection. For formal writing, this may be the ink of choice. It is not water resistant, though. Very smooth writing experience in more than one of my ens.
