For years, the self-constructed cleansing syringe for clogged fountain pens and scratching nibs has proven its worth in the Kaweco customer service and repair centre.

An empty cartridge sleeve is attached to a 20 ml syringe together with a piece of rubberhose. The syringe creates optimum pressure to remove impurities from the fountain pen. As a result, paint remains and particles disturbing the writing flow are flushed out of the pen. It is a simple tool that revives the fun of writing.
