I was looking for a compact pen to accompany my smaller notebook and found the perfect fit with the Kaweco Sport. The pocket clip is useful and the pen is nice and light. Unless you have really samll hands, you will probably have to post the pen. I prefer unposted when using a normal length body and the Sport feels well balanced in the hand with the cap on the back.

Very different and interesting design. The small size takes some time to get used to. Writing mechanism very smooth.

The gift set was good value for money and a nice introduction to the brand. The medium nib writes with some feedback , but is comparable to the Lamy Safari and even the Jinhao X750. So not bad at all! A true little pocket rocket that does well as a light travelling companion. I don’t think this design was ever intended to be used unposted. Having said this it is comfortable for short periods of use in my slightly larger than average hands.

Nice pocket pen – is a bit “plasticky” and find scratches develop around the barrel where the cap fits – but this was expected. Really nice packaging. Filled it with Diamine “Claret” – using Kaweco converter and it writes really smoothly. Would consider getting some other nib units for it later too…
