Diamine Fountain Pen Ink – Sepia
Originating in the 1800’s, Diamine Ink has a long history and has been developed into one of the finest quality fountain pen inks on the market. It’s reliability has lead it to become one of the most sought after inks by both professionals and beginners. This Diamine Sepia Ink is suitable for any brand of fountain pens, making it a convenient purchase too. It is a water-based non-toxic ink, making it a safe option for vintage pens in particular. The warm sepia colour of this ink is not overly saturated giving it a beautiful richness. It is also versatile in the sense that it has the ability to be easily mixed with other colour inks and create new colours. This Diamine ink also has anti-clogging properties, ensuring even and smooth precision across paper.

This ink is very good to express some vintage texture.
the color density is not so thick and the color itself is very calm and soft.
Maybe it can be little bit watery, but that makes this ink more vintage-look.
If you have a vintage leather notebook or other vintage paper, this ink is very good for them I think.
The flow of the ink is good, but not as fluent as Parker quink. However, it just feels soft and fluent for me.
With an affordable price, this would be my choice if I have to write a letter to someone around me.

A beautiful sandy light brown. I use this ink for painting and it’s the lightest brown available in the Diamine range that I could find. This is a great warm tone to use as a base layer for a portrait.
The name seems misleading but mostly because I’m used to sepia referring to a rather dark cold brown than this light warm brown
