Diamine Fountain Pen Ink - Bilberry
Originating in the 1800’s, Diamine Ink has a long history and has been developed into one of the finest quality fountain pen inks on the market. It’s reliability has lead it to become one of the most sought after inks by both professionals and beginners. This Diamine Bilberry Ink is suitable for any brand of fountain pens, making it a convenient purchase too. It is a water-based non-toxic ink, making it a safe option for vintage pens in particular. The bright bilberry colour of this ink is not overly saturated giving it a beautiful vibrancy. It is also versatile in the sense that it has the ability to be easily mixed with other colour inks and create new colours. This Diamine ink also has anti-clogging properties, ensuring even and smooth precision across paper.

It’s blurple – a perfect mixture between blue and purple, very saturated. Really pops off the page, pretty colour.

I’ve used this ink in a Jinhao X750, and it is an absolute beauty. I initially thought this shade of purple might be a bit gaudy, but it is far more majestic than that. The darkness makes it very clear on the page, the colour is rich and ‘meaty’, and it flows beautifully, better than some other Diamine inks I’ve tried. It is one of my favourite inks, and I recommend it.
