Diamine Fountain Pen Ink – Marine
Originating in the 1800’s, Diamine Ink has a long history and has been developed into one of the finest quality fountain pen inks on the market. It’s reliability has lead it to become one of the most sought after inks by both professionals and beginners. This Diamine Marine Ink is suitable for any brand of fountain pens, making it a convenient purchase too. It is a water-based non-toxic ink, making it a safe option for vintage pens in particular. The bright marine colour of this ink is not overly saturated and thus has a beautiful vibrancy to it. It is also versatile in the sense that it has the ability to be easily mixed with other colour inks and create new colours. This Diamine ink also has anti-clogging properties, ensuring even and smooth precision across paper.

My favorite fountain pen ink so far.
The ink is such a beautiful blue-green color, that (as the name suggests) looks like the ocean on a beautiful summer’s day. Furthermore, the ink has spectacular shading capabilities. Every time I write with this ink, I get tons of compliments. The ink also does not smudge easily, it’s easy to flush out of a pen and isn’t high maintenance at all. I highly recommend this ink.
The only slight downfall of the ink is that it has no resistance to water, and you must be careful with liquids around this ink.

This is by far the lightest turquoise ink that I own. However, it is still dark enough to count as a formal ink. The colour works well on both white and ivory paper. A very happy colour as well.

Beautiful and bright coloured ink, perhaps best suited for medium nib or bolder nibs use as my EF and F aren’t doing the shading justice. Minus a star for feathering on a few types of paper even with my dry EF nibs.
