I own a couple of LAMY pens. From all my LAMY’s this is currently my favourite. I say currently as I like the brand and will get different pens from this brand. It is a thin pen compared to the Safari and Al-Star but it looks smart when you write with it in a office context.

I’ve had mine for a few years now and it is still my favourite fountain pen. Unlike the Safari and Al-Star, this fountain pen is thin, which is a pleasure to write with if you find the former too bulky. It also has a beautiful weight without being too heavy and if you want to change the weighting the lid clips onto the top if you prefer. When you replace the lid, it makes a satisfying click sound and the ridging on the grip is comfortable and not tiring.

I have had the joy of using the Lamy Logo for more than a year now. I have previously had Safari’s and find the Logo a much more refined pen. The pen is nice and well-balanced when the cap is affixed on the end of the instrument. I also like that this pen is a thinner more manageable instrument. My only gripe is after a years usage, the chrome coated plastic end cap has lost its chrome due to the repeated placing and removing of my pen cap on the end of the pen for balancing purposes, hence 4 stars. I was expecting better quality on that end from Lamy.
