Great pen – super smooth writer, solid metal and comes with an included converter! Docked a star because the nib is only available is one size.

Absolutely stunning pen, solid, and so super smooth… A bargain you should get one in each colour for each colour ink.

This is a fantastic pen. It writes very nice and smooth, has a solid feel to it and is quality. Perfect for fountain pen newbies like me. I love that it comes with a converter.

This is a great pen. Writes very smooth and is comfortable in the hand with a nice solid feel to the construction. Great pen to start with for people new to fountain pens.

An outstanding fountain pen, silky smooth, solid construction, love the feel of the nib and the size is perfect for me.I have one ten times the price that cannot compete this gem.
Budgeted for a couple more.

The only thing better than the pen was the service I received. Prompt, efficient and friendly. Can recommend and will definitely make use or Write Gear’s services again in the future!

An excellent pen for the money. Has a nice weight to it thanks to the metal construction and certainly looks the business. Very comfortable too. The nib is nice and big, quite pretty, and writes very smoothly (I do suffer the occasional hard start, however). The fact that the X750 comes with a converter at this price point is fantastic – a perfect pen for those wishing to start experimenting with bottled ink.

I love this pen. As a beginner in the FP world and as a broke varsity student, I really love the fact that’s it’s cheap but great quality. It also includes a converter which is a plus. I did have to get used to the extra weight as it is a bit heavier than my other pens. I’m generally a fine nib lover but I actually enjoy using the medium nib on this pen.

This was my first fountain pen, and as starter pens go I don’t think you can do much better. It’s one of the cheapest pens available, but the pen itself looks anything but cheap in person, and has a classic finish and a nice heft to it that makes it a real pleasure to use. It’s very smooth to write with, and the ink flow on the medium nib is great for shading inks. Also in this price range the automatic inclusion of a cartridge converter is a nice touch (The Lamy Safari at twice the price makes you pay extra for one). If you’re just starting out with fountain pens, or simply want a cheap daily pen that you don’t have to fuss over then the Jinhao X750 is a great option.

Great entry level pen. Writes smoothly for the price. A great bargain as it comes with a converter. A very slim pen compared to the Jinhaa X450 or the Jinhao 159.
I like the rubber grip as it is much easier on my fingers, although it may make it feel cheaper for others?
The silver and black colour scheme makes it look more elegant and classic

This is a beautiful pen and writes very smoothly with good feedback. I do find it a little on the dry side, but the for price it is excellent quality.
