Rohrer & Klingner Ink – Sepia
Rohrer & Klingner continues its long tradition in producing inks with this assortment which also includes ferro-gallic inks.
In addition to the classic colors, there are now new colour tones which were developed specifically with calligraphy in mind. Rohrer’s writing inks are perfect for fountain pens, steel nibbed pens, dip pens and other writing utensils which are used in calligraphy. Pleasant, high-quality dyes which are processed into the individual tones reveal a balanced intensity of colors in addition to the high brilliance in the ink.

Wonderful ink. At first glance it’s a saturated dark brown. I’m now using it in a pen with a flex nib. It shades nicely and flows really well.

This ink is a beautiful shade of brown. It does not appear pure dark brown, rather as a grey/brown-black. It works very well with italic nibs, creating a very cool effect.

Great ink! This dries to a dark grey-brown and is usable on cheap paper with no bleeding or feathering. I find it holds up surprisingly well to water and is reasonably easy to clean. One of my regular inks

Fantastic colour, it is not bright brown and mostly looks like wet dirt brown when on white paper. It is also really well behaved ink, but still takes some time to dry on Rhodia paper, which was expected.
