Pilot Iroshizuku Ink Bottle – Kon-Peki (Blue)
The name “iroshizuku” is a combination of the Japanese words “iro” (colouring) expressing high standards and variation of colours, and “shizuku” (droplet), which embodies the very image of dripping water. Each ink name derives from the expressions of beautiful Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue. Enjoy Japan’s rich and subtle colour aesthetic as you write.
PILOT has always manufactured its own inks, which are renowned throughout the world.

This ink is incredible. I’ve tried it in a Tswbi Eco and Lamy Studio, the ink flow is perfect. It is a very easy writing ink. The bottle is a desktop show-off. The blue is very rich and bright. It’s not a light blue, but it is not a typical blue with darker hues. This blue ink even works well on yellow paper, where most blue inks appear black. The box is a work of art too. If you want a blue ink, this is it.

This ink has a vibrant turquoise colour. Turquoise has not been my favourite colour, but this hue is strikingly different. It performs well on standard paper and does not feather. It has become one of my regular writing inks.
