A top quality fountain pen. The cigar shaped Emerald Blue acrylic resin body is absolutely beautiful. The steel nib writes like a dream and it is a joy to own one of these pens.

This is one of my favourite fountain pens. At the price it is not for those just starting out into the fabulous world of handwriting, though. It is a pen for the discerning writer. The pen writes smoothly out of the box with a wet ink flow. I have more than one of the Leonardo pens and they all have a wet flow, so it seems that this may be a characteristic of the Italian temperament! As a result of the wet flow, even with an F-nib, even the drier inks work well. The pen writes with a delicate and elegant touch.
These pens have a wider body than usual, which fits my large hands to a T. While some will purchase this pen for the odd signing of papers or filling out forms, mine works hard and passes muster for hard working. The pen also comes complete with a converter, which opens up ink choices to the wide variety of bottled ink available. This is a pen that I recommend to anybody upgrading from beginner level.
