Although tempted by the price and the look, this one was disappointing – went for a fine nib as my other pen with medium was a bit too broad. The fine nib often gets clogged up, and doesnt flow at all. My Kaweko fine tip writes beautifully though, so its something particular about this tip. The only way to actually write is to write supersmall superslowly, and even then theres a squeek when you write. Tried different inks and flushed through it, but still does not write well . If its possible to get a bigger nib for it, it might work better? I would not get this one with fine nib again.

The nib wrote well enough, but the body feels cheap, the fingerprint patterning peeled off after about a month, and I accidentally cracked the barrel after accidentally over-tightening it.
At this price point I’d rather go for the Lamy Safari, or even the Platinum Preppy. If you want a FC nib (and I did find them nice nibs), the Basic (at twice the price) is a much better experience than the WRITink.
Sadly I cannot recommend this pen.
