Endless Recorder Notebook – Crimson Sky – A5
Endless Recorder – the world’s most ink friendly notebook.
The Endless Recorder is a hard-cover leatherette bound notebook. The Recorder uses a highly specialized Tomoe River paper which ensures virtually zero bleed-through and no feathering.
This A5 sized notebook, in 4 gorgeous colours, is an ideal companion for all your journaling and notebook needs. The 192 page notebook also features 16 perforated sheets at the end. The Ruled, Dotted and Squared layouts come with numbered pages.

This paper makes everything look like art. I usually write with broad / bold nibs and love wet writers. I have not had any bleed through or feathering with any of my inks. The best thing about this is that all of the inks perform at its optimal sheen / shading / shimmer. I have used inks that I thought were flat – even on my Rhodia notebooks and they are beautiful on this paper.

The Endless notebook is very nicely made. It feels sturdy, and in the dot grid version the dotted pattern on the paper is unobtrusive enough to serve as a nice guideline without getting in the way of the content you choose to put into it. There’s a convenient two page table of contents in the beginning of the book, and the rest is plain dotted paper, with a nifty expandable inner pocket at the back of the notebook.
But the real star of the Endless notebook is its paper. Simply put, nothing really compares to Tomoe River paper when it comes to getting the most out of your fountain pen ink. The paper is very thin, but there’s no feathering or bleedthrough, and it completely transforms ink colours. If you’re a fountain pen lover I’d absolutely recommend that you try it at least once.

Tomoe river paper aside I’ve had some serious quality issues with these notebooks. 9 days into the new year and 15 pages in, the turquoise ribbon divider has fallen out. There is also a persistent issue of pages that are stuck together at the spine of the notebook. Please bring back Rhodia to give us options or stock up on Leuchtturm1917

I’m in love with my endless recorder notebook for doodles and unwinding with Pens and ink. The paper is perfection to show ink properties in all their glory.

The very best paper I’ve ever used. Fountain pen inks looks superb. Pricey, but worth it. I recommend it.
