Diamine Fountain Pen Ink – Sherwood Green
Originating in the 1800’s, Diamine Ink has a long history and has been developed into one of the finest quality fountain pen inks on the market. It’s reliability has lead it to become one of the most sought after inks by both professionals and beginners. This Diamine Sherwood Green Ink is suitable for any brand of fountain pens, making it a convenient purchase too. It is a water-based non-toxic ink, making it a safe option for vintage pens in particular. The Sherwood green colour of this ink is not overly saturated and thus has a beautiful depth to it. It is also versatile in the sense that it has the ability to be easily mixed with other colour inks and create new colours. This Diamine ink also has anti-clogging properties, ensuring even and smooth precision across paper.

Pretty dark green, writes smoothly – if using a flex nib you can get parts that go from green to almost black.

Easy writing green. Slightly darker than Diamine Woodland Green. The line texture and colour varies depending on nib size and writing speed. Written paragraphs do have the same range of green shades as a forest canopy. This ink is perfect for calligraphy.

Compared to Parker Quink ink, this ink feathers and bleeds through ordinary paper more easily. So, use with good quality paper. Regarding the colour: It is a nice dark green — more “green” compared to Diamine Geen/Black. I perhaps found the colour a bit dull, i.e. not SO vibrant. But, still nice. Also dark enough to be used for everyday writing and a possible alternative to plain black ink.

Lovely green that varies in colour widely depending on the flow of the pen you use. Tends to bleed a bit on cheaper paper when the flow is high. Still my go to green.

Lovely green, but very dark. Excellent for writing but I wouldn’t use it so much for drawing.
