The red sheen this ink produces is wonderful, and the colour is a super saturated blue. I really enjoy using this ink because of the incredible sheen, but unfortunately no matter which paper I use, if I run my hand over it – even a day later it smudges.

The ”Majestic Blue” is a deep blue ‘standard issue’ ink. The shading depth is decent and has beautiful tints of red sheen when dry.
The ink has a medium-long dry time , however tends to dry out reasonably quickly on up-capped pens.
It is a quality, classic blue ink that is a ‘must have’ in any ink collection.

Without the sheen this ink is a very pleasing deep blue. The red sheen adds a great dimension and can give a great effect.
I have also found it to dry fast in uncapped pens.
Definitely a great deep blue for anyone who wants an interesting sheen.

Super great sheening ink that is a joy to write with.
Being a Lefty, i did not really have any problems with smearing the ink.
The ink does dry quite quickly in the nib but I have found that this is a minor inconvenience.

One of my favourite inks again, I purchased a large bottle of the stuff. It writes beautifully and shows some red sheen and some shading on some paper. A classic dark blue with awesome character.

A nice deep blue ink that behaves quite well on cheaper paper, with only a hint of bleeding on 80gsm printer paper. This ink is very similar to Sailor Jentle Blue, with the Sailor ink actually having quite a bit more sheen on absorbent papers.
