Diamine Fountain Pen Ink – Grey
Originating in the 1800’s, Diamine Ink has a long history and has been developed into one of the finest quality fountain pen inks on the market. It’s reliability has lead it to become one of the most sought after inks by both professionals and beginners. This Diamine Grey ink is suitable for any brand of fountain pens, making it a convenient purchase too. It is a water-based non-toxic ink, making it a safe option for vintage pens in particular. The Grey colour of this ink is not overly saturated and thus has a beautiful depth to it. It is also versatile in the sense that it has the ability to be easily mixed with other colour inks and create new colours. This Diamine ink also has anti-clogging properties, ensuring even and smooth precision across paper.

True grey, slightly on the dark side but still distinctly grey. Doesn’t lean to either blue or red. Shades well, if it where slightly lighter would have almost a pencil look.

True grey. The grey when you think of grey. The kind of grey that comes from an HB pencil kinda grey. Probably the most accurate translation of the colour grey into fountain pen ink.
It is surprisingly pleasant to write with and read. It is not too wet or too dry. This is one of my favourite colours. A well behaved ink for sure.

eerie ink, to write with a pen but to see what looks like pencil marks being produced – my absolute favourite diamine

Love this ink. Pretty consistent color and when allowed to dry properly, you can use a highlighter over the ink.
My everyday go to ink!
