Diamine Fountain Pen Ink – Blaze Orange

Mareli Basson –
A very vibrant orange. At first glance there is not much difference between this and Diamine Pumpkin, but once both are diluted to a wash there’s a noticeable difference. This colour washes out to peach tone whereas Pumpkin clearly shows more yellow which helps to tone the orange down a bit when working with lighter washes in ink paintings.
Currently I use Pumpkin much more often, but this is a great shade to mix other colours with when necessary
